伝統と革新の精神を織り込む新本社ビル
創業400年を超えるヒゲタ醤油が、日本橋の地に築く新たな本社ビルのプロジェクトである。 計画にあたっては、エムアールスタジオ宮下氏により「江戸の食文化の歴史性」を建築に具現化することを目指した。さらには、1697年に小麦を加える革新的な製法を確立し、ヒゲタ濃口醤油の原点を築いたヒゲタ醤油の歴史的背景を踏まえたデザインをモチーフに採用。小麦畑を想起させる黄金色のルーバーによるファサード、ブランドイメージである「ヒゲタイエロー」を用いた内装など、同社の伝統と革新の精神を織り込む新本社ビルを造り上げた。
