Okumura Commemorative Museum

Okumura Corporation began in 1907 in the city of Nara, where our founder Tahei Okumura was born and raised.Ever since that time, the Okumura Corporation has been steadily developing as a community minded general contractor, under the principles of "steadfast management" and "conscientious operation ". In 2007, we opened the Okumura Commemorative Museum in Nara City, to commemorate the centenary of our company's founding, as well as, to show our gratitude to and reflect our strong relationship with the city. The building features an exterior design that blends into the landscape of this historic city, while the inside is open to the public free of charge with a space for people to relax in and an exhibition area to introduce our 100 year company history. We would be delighted if many visitors to Nara City, as well as local residents, would use our museum as a place to rest while strolling around this historic city.
